OSU Food Preservation Hotline Now Open
Now through October 9th, the Oregon State University Extension Service Food Safety and Preservation hotline will be open and helping people safely preserve their garden produce. The hotline is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday – Friday at 800-354-7319.

A plan to reintroduce grizzly bears in the North Cascades has been dropped by the federal government, which has sparked a possible lawsuit from the Center for Biological Diversity.
