Models Show Extreme Fire Weather Increased 40%
A study led by Oregon State University shows that wildfire danger in the West has increased 40%. The computer models covering 2017 and 2018 show that changes in climate may be factors.
$215 Million Committed to Food Supply Chain
From the Pacific Northwest Ag Network, the USDA will make $215 million available in grants and other support to help strengthen America’s food supply chain. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association approves of the efforts.
